Born in Porto in 1997, he began studying piano in 2003 at the Óscar da Silva Music School, under the guidance of Professor Irene Fernandes. In 2004, he joined the Porto Conservatory of Music, in the class of Professor Maria José Souza Guedes, completing, in 2015, the 8th piano grade. In the same year, he joined the class of Professor Miguel Borges Coelho at the Escola Superior de Música e Artes do Espetáculo (ESMAE), where, in 2019, he completed his bachelor’s degree in piano.
In 2022, he completed a master’s degree at the Hochschule für Musik Freiburg, in the class of Gilead Mishory; in 2024, he completed a second master’s degree, in Lied, in the class of Professor Matthias Alteheld.
Throughout his training, he had the opportunity to collaborate with renowned artists, including Anne le Bozec, Burkhardt Kehring, Alexander Fleischer, Julius Drake, Bernarda Fink, Julian Pregardien, Thomas Hampson, and Roger Vignoles.
In 2023, he was a semifinalist in the Nadia e Lili Boulanger competition. Additionally, he has earned several distinctions, including 1st Prize at the Alto Minho Iberian Competition and the Marília Rocha Prize in the corresponding competition. He has also performed in several prestigious concert halls, such as Casa da Música and the Louletano Municipal Theatre.
He is currently deepening his skills in Lied interpretation at the University of Mozarteum, under the guidance of Professor Pauliina Tukiainen, and he is part of the Lied Academy of the Heidelberger Frühling Festival.
