Born in Porto (Portugal) in 1997, Hugo Peres is a collaborative pianist specialising in vocal repertoire, with a particular focus on Lied.
As a dedicated chamber musician and accompanist, he has worked with distinguished artists such as Anne Le Bozec, Burkhardt Kehring, Alexander Fleischer, Julius Drake, Bernarda Fink, Julian Prégardien, Thomas Hampson, and Roger Vignoles.
He is a member of the Lied Academy of the Heidelberger Frühling Festival, and laureate of the Internationaal Liedfestival of Zeist 2026.
